BRINGING KENTUCKY KNOW-HOW TO TEXAS
About Your Equestrian Trainer
Born in 1989 in Louisville, Kentucky, Lauren grew up surrounded by horses as the daughter of a successful trainer and upper level competitor, Martha Lambert. She began riding at the age of three, and competed in Pony Club Rally at four. At the age of 8, Lauren began showing in USEA recognized events, successfully reaching the CCI4* level in 2008 at the age of 19 with her OTTB, Baba Creek.
Lauren has worked for and ridden with some of the nation’s top riders including David O’Connor, and has trained extensively with Jimmy Wofford since age eleven. She spent twelve years under the instruction of German Classical Dressage trainer, Alex Gerding, who taught her explicitly how to sympathetically and systematically train even the most difficult horses. Developing under world-class instructors, along with growing up in the business watching her mother operate, Lauren has the experience, confidence, and inherent skills for communicating, coaching, and helping horses and riders reach their goals.
Lauren has also ridden and worked for the 2001 Equitation Finals Winner and Grand Prix show jumper Derek Braun in both Wellington, Florida and Lexington, Kentucky. After being Talent Spotted onto the Under 25 Eventing Squad in 2013 and training with the US Eventing High Performance Team, Lauren spent time working for the 1994 Team World Champion and Individual Bronze medalist in Show Jumping, Sören Von Rönne, at his International sales, breeding, and training facility outside of Hamburg, Germany.
Soon after returning from Germany, Lauren relocated to Dallas to be with her husband, Adam. Lauren is excited at the opportunity to work with horses and riders of all levels from her home base in North Texas.

"When you train a horse on a daily basis, you're a part of the horse's movement, you're a part of his motion. Everything that the horse experiences is coming from you. There's a total connection -- a true friendship -- and the connection touches the soul completely."
